Ashley is not only a talented violist but also a passionate advocate for domestic violence education through her initiative "Love Doesn’t Hurt." Her story is one of resilience and empowerment. As a UNC Chapel Hill student studying Nutrition and Exercise Science, she's all set to make a significant impact. And guess what? Ashley can wiggle her ears, has performed with a famous electric violinist, and is a true crime aficionado!

What's fascinating?
Ila, a musical theater enthusiast and a sophomore at Topsail High School, aspires to be a First Grade Teacher. Her CSI, "You Know Me, Not My Story," aims to give a voice to the voiceless and share inspiring stories. This huge theater nerd had her first sentence as “I want to be a princess,” and she's well on her way to inspiring many with her voice and passion.

About the Miss North Carolina Organization
As an official state preliminary associated with the Miss America Organization, the Miss North Carolina Organization is a part of the largest scholarship providing organization for women in the world. Promoting an emphasis on academics and communication skills, the MNCO is considered a launching pad for young women to further their academic and career goals.
