What are your scholastic and/or career ambitions? I plan to attend the University of Tennessee and obtain a Bechelor of Science in Nursing with the hope of being a travel nurse.

Community Service Initiative (CSI): It Begins with Y.O.U. – Youth, Overcoming and Uplifting

What are some objectives you have as a titleholder? It Begins with Y.O.U ( Youth, Overcoming and Uplifting) was created out of a need for bullying prevention in today’s youth. I partner with local elementary schools to discuss the bullying prevention program created to teach children the skills, communication and commitment to end bullying. I plan to visit all 13 elementary schools in my area with the goal of obtaining 1,000 pledges during my year as Miss Ballantyne’s Teen.

What are some interesting facts about you? I can sing all the State Capitals.
I had my first job, by choice, at the age of 14.
I was scouted at a dance competition to model in NYC.
I am the youngest of 4 siblings, age ranges 28-15.
I was diagnosed with Skin Cancer when I was 13.
I love making dream boards on Pinterest.

What do you enjoy doing for fun? My passion is dancing and where I find the most joy! When I’m not at the studio or on a competition stage, spending time with my family and best friends is my favorite pass time. Spending time with them is life giving!
