What's special?
Hannah is not just a dedicated elementary school teacher; she's a vocal talent with a passion for the arts. Having graduated from East Carolina University, she's planning to further her education while also dreaming of owning her own youth theater company. Her initiative, "Skye’s the Limit for the Arts," aims to make artistic opportunities accessible to all, particularly under-served communities. And did you know? Hannah once performed at Disney World and has a fascinating familial connection to Ava Gardner!

Rachel Grace Leonard
What's fascinating?
Rachel is a vibrant jazz dancer and an aspiring Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Currently a sophomore at Cape Fear High School, she's already set her sights on UNC Chapel Hill. Her CSI, "Her Heart to Heart," is dedicated to improving women's heart health awareness and advocacy. Rachel brings her enthusiasm not just to dance but to educating others about important health issues. Fun fact: she loves pickles and has admired the Radio City Rockettes since childhood!

About the Miss North Carolina Organization
As an official state preliminary associated with the Miss America Organization, the Miss North Carolina Organization (MNCO) is a part of the largest scholarship providing organization for women in the world. Promoting an emphasis on academics and communication skills, the MNCO is considered a launching pad for young women to further their academic and career goals. Taylor Loyd currently serves as Miss North Carolina 2023. Hanley House, crowned Miss North Carolina’s Teen 2023, became the first teen from North Carolina to win the national title as Miss America’s Teen 2024.
