Miss NC & MNCTeen 2023 Preliminary Night #2 Results

06/24/2023 High Point, NC – The Miss North Carolina and Miss North Carolina’s Teen Competitions continued at the High Point Theatre last evening. 87 delegates from across the Tarheel state competed in the second preliminary competitions for a spot in Saturday’s final competition.

Annika Schneider (Metrolina) garnered the Teen Preliminary Evening Gown Award and received a $250 scholarship provided by Jennifer Thrasher.

Mia Geter (Charlotte Mecklenburg), Colleen McDermott (Johnston County) and Hanley House (Cleveland) were awarded the Teen Preliminary Talent Award in a three way tie and each won a $500 scholarship.

Olivia Gray (Carolina Dogwood) garnered the Miss Preliminary Talent Award and received a $1,000 scholarship provided by David Clegg.

Taylor Loyd (Statesville) received the Miss Preliminary Evening Gown Award and was awarded a $1,000 scholarship provided by Family and Friends of Susan Googe, Miss NC 1975.

Final competitions for Miss North Carolina’s Teen and Miss North Carolina begin on Saturday at 2:30PM and 7:30PM, respectively.
