Everett promotes her Community Service Initiative of “We Need Equity To Build Communities” aims to break down systemic barriers in our society.

She performed a vocal to “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from the Broadway musical Dreamgirls in the talent competition.

Everett received a $20,000 scholarship and will represent North Carolina in the Miss America 2025 competition.

EDUCATION

Carrie is a vocal performance major at North Carolina Central University

SCHOLARSHIP

Everett has earned a $20,000 scholarship as Miss North Carolina in addition to a $1000 scholarship for winning a Preliminary Evening Gown Award, a $1000 scholarship for winning a Preliminary Talent Award, a $500 scholarship for winning the Overall Vocal Talent Award, and a $1000 scholarship for the Karen Bloomquist Rookie Award.

Carrie previously represented the local organizations in Washington as Miss Lea Hill's Outstanding Teen 2019, Miss Auburn 2022, and in North Carolina as Miss Johnston County 2024.
