What are your scholastic and/or career ambitions? Complete a Master of Public Health program and become a Registered Dietitian
Community Service Initiative (CSI): Love Doesn’t Hurt
What are some objectives you have as a titleholder? Love Doesn’t Hurt promotes domestic violence education so everyone can recognize the signs. The Love Doesn’t Hurt podcast strives to create a community of survivors, as well as a greater community that is more knowledgeable about domestic violence, so victims can not only survive but thrive! As a childhood survivor of domestic violence, I hope that Love Doesn’t Hurt helps others to not feel isolated in their experiences. As Miss Randolph County I aim to partner with the Randolph County Family Crisis Center to create community education events and collaborative podcast episodes!
What are some interesting facts abut you? I can wiggle my ears; I have performed with a famous electric violinist; I am a true crime junkie; I work for UNC Football
What do you enjoy doing for fun? Dancing on my club dance team – the “Star Heels” at UNC; Trying new coffee shops; Learning new songs on my viola by ear; Volunteering with the Compass Center in Chapel Hill
