Hometown: Pinehurst, NC
Current Schooling: 2023 summa cum laude graduate from Point Park’s honors department with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in dance. I am currently enrolled in Pilates certification training to become a certified Pilates instructor.
What are your scholastic and/or career ambitions? I plan to become a Broadway/TV and film actress.
Community Service Initiative (CSI): Be FARE – Food Allergy Research and Education
What are some objectives you have as a titleholder? My CSI is “Be FARE – Food Allergy Research and Education. My goal is to continue to place my book in schools and libraries to inform people of all ages about how to better protect friends and family that have food allergies. I am also reintroducing legislation that would require restaurants in NC to take part in food allergy training.
What are some interesting facts abut you? I have Lebanese roots; I wrote, illustrated, and self-published a children’s book, “The Anteater That Couldn’t Eat Ants”; I was in a viral national ad campaign for Drink Cirkul; I sang with Boyz II Men once.
What do you enjoy doing for fun? I am a tinned fish connoisseur and I love to design charcuterie for friends and family to enjoy. I enjoy being a dance and voice instructor for young people. I love health and wellness…specifically the benefits of Reformer Pilates and TRX training.
