Current Schooling: I currently attend Johnston Community College and am taking pre-requisite classes for nursing.

What are your scholastic and/or career ambitions? I plan to transfer to East Carolina University to obtain my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and share my passion for helping others by becoming a Pediatric Transplant Nurse with Duke University Hospital.

Community Service Initiative (CSI): Check Yes for Life

What are some objectives you have as a titleholder? My CSI, “Check Yes for Life,” brings awareness and education to organ donation. I share the importance of organ donation by organizing registration drives, reading my children’s book entitled, “Check Yes to Doing Good” in local schools, and partnering with other titleholders on my podcast to share the importance of checking yes for life.

What are some interesting facts about you? I learned to water ski at the age of 6 and then to ski on one foot at the age of 8; I danced with country music singer, Jon Pardi at a wedding; and when I was younger I wanted to be a firefighter when I grew up.

What do you enjoy doing for fun? I love any kind of water sports, snow skiing, fishing, and spending time with friends and family at the lake, beach, and mountains.
