Community Service Initiative (CSI): Pass the Green Ribbon
What are some objectives you have as a titleholder? My CSI is Pass the Green Ribbon, an awareness campaign recognized by the signal of a Green Ribbon. October 20th, 2020 I was in a tragic golf cart accident causing a Traumatic Brain Injury. Pass the Green Ribbon raises awareness, educates and supports, provides prevention, and advocates for every individual to fully embrace who they are. As Miss Lake Tillery’s Teen, I want to deliver prayer blankets for Traumatic Brain Injury Survivors to at least 20 hospitals in North Carolina as well as nationwide, educate teens about TBI and the importance of concussion protocol in at least 25 schools, and lastly I want to reach and impact individuals across the entire state to help with mental health and encourage them to fully embrace who they are!
What are some interesting facts abut you? I am a Traumatic Brain Injury Survivor. I am the first ever Miss Lake Tillery’s Teen. By the time I am 18 years old I will have already earned 2 college degrees!
What do you enjoy doing for fun? I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love going to the beach or traveling to the Caribbean. I enjoy being creative doing hair and making prayer blankets for my CSI.
