02/23/2022 Raleigh, N.C. – The Miss North Carolina Organization is pleased to
announce longtime Miss NC volunteer Adrienne Sulkey as the next Business Manager for the reigning Miss North Carolina. Sulkey will coordinate Miss North Carolina’s travel schedule and appearance schedule throughout the year.
No stranger to the Miss NC competition stage, Sulkey is a former Miss Garner (‘99), Miss Greensboro and 4th Runner Up to Miss NC 2000, Miss Western Piedmont and 1st Runner Up to Miss NC 2001), candidate hostess, as well as a Carolina Princess and Outstanding Teen committee member. Sulkey, a resident of Huntersville, will continue to serve as the MNCO’s HBCU outreach coordinator while business manager.
“I look at it as a great opportunity to get Miss NC out at the colleges and universities and to be more visible in ALL communities in NC,” noted Sulkey. “Being the Business Manager and Director of HBCU Recruitment will help the organization expand and bridge new relationships with our local colleges and universities, focusing on our Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUS) first.”
