The Miss North Carolina Organization is thrilled to announce a final call for aspiring delegates to join the prestigious Class of 2026, set to compete in the upcoming State Competition this June. This is an unparalleled chance for ambitious young women across North Carolina to showcase their talents, advocate for causes close to their hearts, and vie for the honor of representing our great state.
Carolina Star Requirements
At Large contestants will be required to link with a registered Carolina Star for the State Competition. This mentoring opportunity is a key component of the Miss America Opportunity, and you are encouraged to confirm that you have a Carolina Star ready to join you. Carolina Stars will have planned events at Work Weekend and at the State Competition.
Work Weekend Requirements
All delegates must attend the Work Weekend activities, which are scheduled for March 13, 14, and 15 at the Embassy Suites in Cary. This is a critical preparatory phase where important paperwork is due, and delegates will engage in various workshops and seminars designed to enhance their competition readiness. Please note, while there is no cost to attend Work Weekend, delegates are responsible for their hotel accommodations and meals. A room block has been reserved at the host hotel for convenience.
State Competition Requirements
The State Competition will take place from June 21-27, 2026, in the vibrant city of High Point. Delegates will arrive on Sunday, June 21. As always, our delegates are responsible for their hotel accommodations and meals throughout the competition. The Miss North Carolina Organization has partnered with multiple hotels throughout the area to secure discounted room blocks for the week.
Registration Details
We are opening our registration to Miss and Teen delegates who will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration to begin the process and ask any additional questions is available starting Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Registration and payment access will begin on Sunday, February 8, following our final Local Competition of the season. The registration fee (Miss and Teen) will cover your crown, sash, and state entry fee. Once the fee is paid, we will confirm your spot as one of the esteemed Class of 2026 delegates.
