As American Heart Month approaches, the Miss North Carolina Organization is proud to launch a new, mission-driven fundraiser that combines community, impact, and a familiar Super Bowl tradition.

Our Super Bowl Squares for Heart Month initiative supports the American Heart Association and benefits the future Miss North Carolina 2026 and Miss North Carolina’s Teen 2026, helping them get a strong start toward their required individual $3,000 AHA fundraising goals following the state competition in June.

Why Heart Month and Why Now

Each state titleholder is required to raise at least $3,000 for the American Heart Association in a short window between the Miss North Carolina and Miss America competitions. By launching this fundraiser early, we can:

• Reduce pressure during that compressed fundraising period

• Build momentum for Heart Month advocacy

• Allow supporters to make an impact before the national journey even begins

How the Fundraiser Works

• $25 per square

• 100 squares total, first come, first served

• One shared grid supporting both future 2026 state titleholders

• No limit on squares per participant

• Squares will be assigned randomly once the grid is sold out

• Teams and numbers will be assigned randomly after sales close, broadcast for transparency

Prizes and Impact

Participants will have four chances to win during the Super Bowl:

• End of Q1: $100 prize

• Halftime (Q2): $100 prize

• End of Q3: $100 prize

• Final Score: $200 prize

Total prizes are capped at $500, ensuring that $2,000 from a sellout grid will be allocated to the American Heart Association, split evenly between the two future 2026 state titleholders’ official Spotfund accounts in June.

A Mission-First Fundraiser

This initiative is intentionally framed as a Heart Month fundraiser with a Super Bowl hook, not the other way around. Our focus is on heart health advocacy, community impact, and supporting the next generation of Miss North Carolina leaders as they prepare for the national stage.

Squares are available now and will close when all 100 squares are sold or before kickoff on Super Bowl Sunday, whichever comes first.
