What's special?
Julia is a vocal powerhouse with a passion for musical theater and a graduate from William Peace University. With dreams of hitting the big stage on Broadway and studying at the New York Film Academy, Julia is all about making big moves. Her Community Service Initiative, "Match For Clarity," aims to transform the understanding and treatment of dyslexia, advocating for early screening and support for those affected. Did you know Julia has worked across 8 different states as a professional actress and has a cat that can obey commands?

Mia is a vibrant tap dancer and a senior at Northwest School of the Arts, with aspirations to intertwine her passion for dance with business entrepreneurship. Through her initiative "Get a Grip on Arthritis," she's dedicated to raising awareness and supporting individuals affected by arthritis, serving as a Junior Ambassador for the Arthritis Foundations. Fun fact: Mia has been dancing competitively for 13 years and loves reviving 90's music during family fun nights!

About the Miss North Carolina Organization
As an official state preliminary associated with the Miss America Organization, the Miss North Carolina Organization (MNCO) is a part of the largest scholarship providing organization for women in the world. Promoting an emphasis on academics and communication skills, the MNCO is considered a launching pad for young women to further their academic and career goals. Taylor Loyd currently serves as Miss North Carolina 2023. Hanley House, crowned Miss North Carolina’s Teen 2023, became the first teen from North Carolina to win the national title as Miss America’s Teen 2024.
