The Carolina Star Program, part of the Miss North Carolina Organization, is a mentoring program for young ladies aged 5 to 12. It introduces participants, known as Carolina Stars, at the local organizations level. The expected experiences may involve appearances, volunteer opportunities, and involvement in promotional events, including a special Carolina Star production number during the Miss North Carolina & Miss North Carolina’s Teen Competitions. The program aims to provide insight into the Miss America program, encourage personal growth, and offer fun community service opportunities.
