Community Service Initiative (CSI): Project C.A.R.E.
What are some objectives you have as a titleholder? Project C.A.R.E is an initiative that promotes and educates on Compassion, Advocacy, Respect, and Empathy. Through my CSI as Miss Wendell, I would like to connect with the mayor to have a Project C.A.R.E Day where the community comes together to learn and grow through service and gathering. It is also my goal to get into the classrooms of Wendell school and other school in the surrounding areas to give presentations to the youth. One of my ultimate goals is to host a Project C.A.R.E workshop. During the workshop, several speakers will present, and their will be several activities that will supplement the presentations so that each participant leaves with an understanding of each concept involved in Project C.A.R.E and can use them to grown and develop themselves and their communities.
What are some interesting facts abut you? I have never eaten a fast food hamburger. I worked on the frontlines as a healthcare working during the COVID-19 Pandemic. My first car was a 35th Anniversary Candy Apple Red Ford Mustang.
What do you enjoy doing for fun? Dancing and being captain of the UNCP Spirit Squad Dance Team. Traveling and spending time with my family and friends. Creating Natural Hair Social Media Content.
