Current Schooling: Honors and Advanced Placement Capstone Student at Cape Fear High School, dual enrolled at Fayetteville Technical Community College.
What are your scholastic and/or career ambitions? An Undergraduate Degree in Biomedical Engineering with a Minor in Dance from Duke University and then onto a Graduate Program. Working to provide technological solutions for medical problems to make the world a better place for patients.
Community Service Initiative (CSI): STEM Style
What are some objectives you have as a titleholder? STEM Style is bridging the gap between men and women in STEM by encouraging women to be on the forefront as our next generation of STEM innovators. Currently the United States is falling behind in science, technology, engineering, and math. As Miss Zebulon’s Teen I am getting into elementary and middle schools providing young women with hands-on experiences to hopefully spark an interest into the wonderful world of STEM. Along, with currently working to get STEM programs integrated into everyday life with “Leap into Science” programs.
What are some interesting facts abut you? My favorite food is Sausage Balls; my Family believes in the Power of the ‘K”; Secret Dream: Become a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader; I have a twin sister; Attend 10 Competitive Dance Classes per week; Dolly Parton’s Biggest Fan; believe it or not I absolutely love school and homework.
What do you enjoy doing for fun? Dancing, taking beach and lake trips, baking, being a part of Science Olympiad, and spending time with friends and family.
