Community Service Initiative (CSI): Dance Dreams…Turning Disabilities Into Dance Abilities
What are some objectives you have as a titleholder? Five years ago I founded “Dance Dreams…Turning Disabilities Into Dance Abilities” in honor of my cousin Jackson. It is a true pleasure to work weekly with my dancers offering free instruction at my dance studio. I have grown my program to now offer a competitive team experience as well as a recreational experience. I also have pre-recorded videos that I share with dancers who can not attend classes in person. I plan to expand my program throughout the state and encourage others to share their talents and passion with individuals with disabilities.
What are some interesting facts about you? I can recite all 50 states in alphabetical order in 20 seconds. I also own a miniature donkey.
What do you enjoy doing for fun? I love to travel with my family and friends.
