Community Service Initiative (CSI): Her Heart to Heart: Advocating for women’s heart disease
What are some objectives you have as a titleholder? Her Heart to Heart focuses on changing the narrative of how we approach heart disease. Many women around the world look past the symptoms of heart disease because they are so different than men’s. It is important to start teaching all ages about the signs and symptoms of heart disease but also teaching them how to advocate for their health. There is a huge gap within women’s heart health education and it is my goal to change that!
What are some interesting facts about you? I love pickles. I have been dancing since I was 2. I’ve always loved watching the Radio City Rockettes. Unlike most people math is my favorite subject.
What do you enjoy doing for fun? Dancing, going to the beach, spending time with my family & friends, cheering at my high schools football games on Friday nights, & playing with my dog Lily Belle!
