With a bachelor’s degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, Maura's pushing forward to enhance her education and professional experiences. Her initiative, "The Be With Purpose Foundation," focuses on combating homelessness, particularly among women, through innovative local collaborations. And for a bit of fun, Maura was once an extra in a movie and enjoys scuba diving adventures!

Camryn, a lyrical dancer with a heart full of empathy, is passionate about enhancing accessibility and support for those with special needs. A high school student with dreams of becoming an elementary school teacher, she is actively involved in making her community a better place through her CSI "It Takes HEART." Camryn has a unique story with speech therapy and shares a deeply meaningful connection with her Carolina Star, which fuels her dedication to her cause.

About the Miss North Carolina Organization
As an official state preliminary associated with the Miss America Organization, the Miss North Carolina Organization (MNCO) is a part of the largest scholarship providing organization for women in the world. Promoting an emphasis on academics and communication skills, the MNCO is considered a launching pad for young women to further their academic and career goals. Taylor Loyd currently serves as Miss North Carolina 2023. Hanley House, crowned Miss North Carolina’s Teen 2023, became the first teen from North Carolina to win the national title as Miss America’s Teen 2024.
