Current Schooling: In May, I graduated with a Bachelor’s of science in psychology from the University of North Carolina Greensboro. I will be beginning a masters program in clinical mental health counseling at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in the fall.

What are your scholastic and/or career ambitions? I plan to provide low cost therapy services to trauma exposed adolescents and emerging adults.

Community Service Initiative (CSI): Mental Health Is Health

What are some objectives you have as a titleholder? Mental Health Is Health aims to help people to integrate their physical and mental health together through small but impactful life changes. I will inform people of their resources, share current research findings and help them apply those findings to their everyday lives.

What are some interesting facts about you? I am a trained ghostwriter. I’ve traveled to almost 10 different countries. I am also a dog trainer and trained my one year old poodle, Mocha, to communicate using talking buttons.

What do you enjoy doing for fun? I love to read, write, and column at local animal shelters.
