Community Service Initiative (CSI): Make A Change

What are some objectives you have as a titleholder? Since the age of 6, I learned the value of a penny to feed hungry children throughout the world. I have made it my purpose to raise awareness and funds to this cause. 18 years, 12 countries, thousands of dollars, 8 national/international organizations, 20 counties across North Carolina, 6 Make A Change events, hundreds of school visits and 1 children’s book later and I am more determined than ever. Through the Miss America opportunity, I plan to not only continue my philanthropic efforts but to further my mission by introducing legislation to the North Carolina State Legislature to ensure no child goes hungry in our schools.

What are some interesting facts about you? I’m the Original Italian Southern Belle, an iced coffee enthusiast, and dog mama to Honey the Malchi.

What do you enjoy doing for fun? Thrift shopping with my friends and family!
